Author of the book: "Awaken the Doctor Within!" gives insights into what Bowen in, what it does, how it works as a multi-dimential healing modality.
Bowen is a simple all natural, mostly miraculous, multi-dimensional healing system that makes other treatments obsolete! Legendary for eliminating pain, stress, tension alleviating suffering, it resets the body and mind to heal a very long list of conditions. Bowen addresses every system and organ in the body down to the cellular level as it addresses and resets the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic aspects of the body and mind simultaneously. Bowen is very simple to learn and easy to use. It repeatedly works where other better-known treatments fall short or fail altogether.
Teaching Style:
~ Teach Bowen in a simple, easy-to-learn various learning styles format
~ Use comprehensive hands-on, lecture, in-depth case review and Power Point presentation
~ Build upon what was previous taught and reviewed to solidify knowledge and understanding
~ Assist the student to learn what they need to know and what to look for, not just what to do
~ Teach the student to read, listen to, and “see” what the body is “telling them” on multiple levels
~ Continually review, refine and expand student knowledge, understanding of the body and how it is designed to work
~ Constantly assess and refine application and understanding of technique to insure success as the finest Bowen Practitioner available
~ Provide student opportunities to perform in-clinic and diverse “special event” Bowen treatments under the guidance of an instructor

What I teach: Bowen Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy
The Bowen therapy unique modality assists the body in healing and often sparks surprising and unexpected results, where nothing else has been successful. The way it works, it consists of a series of gently rolling connective tissue moves, a very light touch which are done through clothing. There are frequent but important pauses with vary in length in between these moves, which gives the body time to benefit each set. By combining the moves both in placement and in combination the practitioner is able to address the body as a whole or target a specific problem.

Where I teach: 5777 Madison Avenue, Suite 628, Sacramento CA 95841
What I teach: I teach my own curriculum which has been certified by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Bowen Therapy is a wonderful healing modality. It is incredibly effective for all kinds of body problems, however, teaching it and doing it by route does not work well, in my opinion. I teach why Bowen Therapy works, how Bowen Therapy works and I give the student the freedom to be a healer in their own right.

I believe each of us is teaching an interpretation of Tom Bowen's work and no one exactly duplicates him. As an instructor, I constantly strive to learn and understand more about the facets of this wonderful technique. The combination of my strong background in anatomy, physiology and medicine, training in energy medicine, and a healthy dose of humor allow people with various backgrounds to be comfortable and enjoy learning in my classes. I continue to research the areas Tom Bowen would have explored were he still physically with us and encourage my students to do the same. Feedback from my students is that they, "Learned the how and the why of the technique and had fun doing it."
